Feast of All Saints
Since the Feast of All Saints, November 1, 2014, falls on a Saturday, this solemnity is not observed as a holy day of obligation in 2014, according to the USCCB’s Liturgical Calendar.
Annual Offertory Pledge Drive

The annual offertory pledge drive launches the weekend of November 8-9. Fr. Rick will be speaking at all the Masses about the annual effort to get parishioners to pledge and increase our yearly giving amounts.

Religious Education (R.E.)
Religious Education classes for children in grades 1-5 meet in the Parish Hall on Monday evenings at 6:45pm. These classes are designed for both Non-Catholic and Catholic school children. For more information, contact Kim Zea at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-222-2055.
Little Angels Sunday Preschool (2 1/2 – 4 1/2 years)
The Little Angels Sunday Preschool meets on Sundays during the 10am Mass. Parents check their preschool children in at the church entrance and then be seated. The children will exit the church right after the opening prayer and go to the Kindergarten classroom during Mass. Preschool childen will be picked up at the Kindergarten classroom door after Mass. Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
All parish children in grades K-5 are invited to join us during the Liturgy of the Word at the Sunday 10am Mass. During this time, the children will hear the Sunday readings in a story they will understand. They will have an opportunity to share with each other what Christ’s message is for all of us. The children will return to Mass to rejoin the congregation at the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
The Shawl Ministry will begin soon. Jeannie Vermilya has offered to lead the group. If you love to knit or crochet and would like to donate your work to those who are ill or in hospice, please contact Kim Zea at firstname.lastname@example.org or call 503-222-2055, ext. 14.
We have fall dates to volunteer at the Blanchet House soup kitchen. The following Wednesdays include: December 3 & 10. We are committed to providing 10 volunteers each time. Children who volunteer with a parent must be in the 6th grade or older. To sign up, please call Kim Zea at 503-222-2055. If a conflict arises and you’re unable to fill your spot, please contact Kim.
