Archbishop’s Seminary Tea
Archbishop Alexander Sample, Auxiliary Bishop-Elect Peter Smith, and The Seminary Tea Committee cordially invite you to the 79th Annual Seminary Tea on Wednesday, April 30th from 3-7 p.m. The tea will be held at the Madeleine Parish Hall located at 3123 NE 24th Ave.
This year, the Seminary Tea Committee would like to extend the invitation to all the grade school parents and children as well. The best way to support the education and vocation of future priests is by supporting our current seminarians and also by exposing our children to the vocation. Come shake hands and meet Archbishops, Priests, and leaders of the Mt. Angel Abbey and vocations.
The Seminary Tea is a fund raising event held each spring to assist the Archbishop in funding the education of seminarians at Mount Angel for our Archdiocese. Tickets are $30 and are available after all Masses. For more information or to purchase tickets, please contact Janet Beard at 503-292-1231.
Thank you to all who have volunteered at Blanchet House through STM! We have a few openings for May 7th and 28th to help serve in their soup kitchen. We are committed to providing 10 volunteers each time. Children who volunteer with a parent must be in the 6th grade or older. To sign up, please call Kim Zea at 503-222-2055 and mark it on your calendar.
SW HOPE Feed the Hungry

Religious Education (R.E.)
Religious Education classes for children in grades 1-5 will meet in the Parish Hall on Monday evenings from 6:45pm until 8:00pm. These classes are designed for both Non-Catholic and Catholic school children. For information, call Kim Zea at 503-222-2055 x-14.
(Ages 3 to Kindergarten)
The Little Angels Sunday Preschool is on Sundays during the 10am Mass. Parents may drop their children off at the STM School Kindergarten room door and return after Mass to pick up. Children will not be dismissed until a parent arrives to pick their child up. Parents of participating families will be expected to take turns being classroom helpers. WE are in NEED of a full-time Sunday Preschool teacher. If you love this age group and have the ability to teach the gospel message, please contact Kim Zea or Margaret Schuster at the parish office 503-222-2055. A stipend is included with this position.
Children’s Liturgy of the Word (CLOW)
All Parish children, grades 1-5, are invited to join us during the Liturgy of the Word at the 10am Mass. During this time the children will hear the Sunday readings in a story they will understand. They will have an opportunity to share with each other what Christ’s message is for all of us. The children will return to Mass to rejoin the congregation at the Liturgy of the Eucharist.
